► HOW TO GET A FASHION ID

With any buy-to-own purchase in the fashion education collection, you are issued a Fashion ID which serves as a Library Card to borrow titles in The Evolution of Fashion series. Entering your ID is only required when you lease a book.

If you need to purchase a Library Card to lease your first title, you will pay a one-time cost of $25.00. This allows you to borrow any title in the collection thereafter.

► LEASE A TITLE

Leasing is a great way to try it out before investing in a permanent book for your home library or when you have a special research project. The cost is $16.95 for 14 views within 14 days (whichever comes first).

NOTE: You must have a Fashion ID and USB Activation Key to borrow a book. If you don't, first buy a Library Card.

► BUY INDIVIDUAL TITLES

Each individual title is $59.50 or take advantage of the options to bundle for substantial savings (select 3 of your choice or buy the entire set to save even more).

NOTE: The purchase of a Library Card is not necessary when you buy-to-own a book.

► BUY FOR PUBLIC OR CAMPUS LIBRARY

Library purchases are handled by invoice. The books are for in-branch / on-campus use only as reference material. We add no commercial licensing fees. Please consider making our books a part of your community or campus.

ACTIVATION KEY | LIBRARY CARD | FASHION ID

Each title in The Evolution of Fashion collection is a separate book and application. To open and view the digital books requires an Activation Key [USB]. This is inserted into your PC and activates the application (licensed to you) to start up.

When you buy any title in the fashion education series collection, the Activation Key is included. If you are leasing a book for the first time, you will need to purchase a Library Card. Allow 5 business days to arrive as it needs to be processed and physically mailed. The processing/S&H cost is $25.00 and it is non-refundable.

Your unique Fashion ID is tagged to your Activation Key and is non-transferrable. Whenever you lease vs. buy a title, you will be required to enter your Fashion ID in the appropriate field. Once you have a USB Activation Key, each subsequent purchase will only need the license for that book which is emailed to you.

TECH REQUIREMENTS

The applications require a computer running the currently supported version of the WINDOWS operating system. Mac users must run the Windows app via a virtualization program such as Parallels Desktop (sold separately). The books cannot be viewed on a mobile phone, Linux, or ChromeOS.

Suitable devices to run the applications are a "Windows-based" desktop PC with attached monitor | laptop | tablet. The resolution of your monitor must be capable of displaying full HD. For readability, it looks great at 1920 x 1080 resolution.
